Superdrug's Vitamin E Exfoliating Scrub

Hello, I wanted to do a review on a product that i actually dislike for a change. I don't really like doing negative reviews, but i can't always do positive reviews, right?

                                                    (£2.99 At Superdrugs)

The only thing i really like about this scrub is the smell, it's amazing. Thats pretty much where my love for this product ends. This scrub has a combination of oatmeal and another smaller particle (I have no clue what) I find this makes it incredibly harsh, even if i'm rubbing my face as gently as possible it feels like what i imagine rubbing sandpaper on my face would be like YIKES, it's also a real mess to use to, as the oatmeal pieces constantly fall off. So It's not surprising then that i had a allergic reaction to this, my face would feel as though it was burning, YES burning not a tingle but i full on burn and this was without even rubbing my face!. I would definitely not recommend this scrub for those of you like me who have sensitive skin. However for anyone else this would make a great weekly scrub.

Anybody given this one ago? How did you find it?

Carino Professional Miracle oil with argan oil.

Hello,
My hair has been extremely dry at the ends lately. So i've been on the look out for new hair treatments. Luckily i  found this little miracle oil while i was shopping at Aldis.
                                                                       £3:99 at Alidis

This is slightly thicker than oil and smells divine. I'm not really good with describing smells but the closest i could come up with was that it smells like cocoa butter. There are a few different ways in which you can use this, the first being as a leave in conditioner. You shampoo and condition your hair as usual and apply the product to damp hair (I only apply this to the ends of my hair). The second way is to use it as a finishing product, all you do is apply a small amount through your dry hair, lastly you can use it as an overnight treatment, for this use liberally all through your hair leave until morning and wash and condition hair as normal.Personally i like to use this as a leave in conditioner, my hair always feels softer and smoother after using this, i love the smell and with continued use this is suppose to improve the overall condition of your hair, preventing split ends and breakage.I haven't seen any improvement in my hair's general condition but i have only been using it for three weeks, so i will just have to wait and see if there is any improvement.

Has anyone else tried this? What's your favourite hair treatment?

My morning skincare routine.

As i seem to review/talk about skincare quite abit i thought i would write about my morning skincare routine.
I personally don't want to spend more than five minutes in the morning cleansing/toning, so i use products that are quick and straightforward to use. I only use three products (not including moisturiser ).

Dermalogica daily microfoliant £31:00 at http://www.thefacebeauty.co.uk
Clarins water comfort toner £19.50 (200 ml) clarins website
Lancome softening Hydrating toner.Alcohol free. £22:00 (200 ml) Lancome website
(I have the sample sizes of the lancome and clarins products)

I start by using Dermalogica's daily microfoliant, which is a rice based exfoliating powder that you add water to.You can make it into a creamy paste or make it more watered down by changing the amount of powder/water.I  rub the paste gently in circular motions all of my face, for about a minute then wash it off with warm water.

This is the BEST exfoliator i have ever used hands down! It gets rid of any dry flaky patches of skin i may have, while leaving my face feeling extremely soft.
I then move on to clarins water comfort cleanser (I have done a full review).this part takes me no longer than a minute. I love this cleanser in the morning as its super quick and effective.I put some of the cleanser on cotton wool and gently sweep it across my face,no need to rinse it off.Lastly i use the lancome toner which i find to be very gentle, i apply this the same way as the cleanser.I haven't included a moisturiser with this routine as it changes daily depending on my skins needs.

Anybody tried these products? What did you think?
Any recommendations on quick morning skincare?

Witch naturally clear blemish stick.

I'm sure there are people out there like me that are fed up with blemishes, and just want a product that is cheap and that actually works! I like to use Witch naturally clear blemish stick (10g) as it really does the job.

What Witch says:

The ultimate in blemish control, award winning Witch Blemish Stick helps break down excess oils and fights the bacteria that cause spots, making it the perfect targeted treatment for when a blemish makes an appearance.

Fights the bacteria that causes spots.
Gets to work instantly.

£1:80 at Superdrugs
After I've done my nighttime skincare routine I dab the product onto any blemishes i may have.
I do find it stings my face for a few seconds (only down side for me),it dries completely clear unless you go a bit OTT on the application.I didn't find that this transferred onto my pillowcase or clothes.By the morning  my blemishes are a lot less red and angry and the size is also greatly reduced. I would definitely recommend this product as its cheap and effective.

Anybody else given this ago?

Clarins Water Comfort One-Step Cleanser "Normal/Dry skin"

Hey Guys thought i would just do a blog about a product i'm really enjoying recently.
Which is Clarins water comfort one-step cleanser "Normal/Dry skin"
£19.50 for 200ml on Clarins website.
What Clarin Says:

In one simple step, this soothing cleanser creates the sensation of water-fresh cleansing — without the water. Moringa Seed extract gently rinses-away impurities and light make-up with a fresh, non-foaming action. The peach's softening and soothing properties leaves your skin smooth, supple and velvety-soft.

Having a quick morning skincare routine is very important to me,so having this cleanser makes my life that much easier. Its a water like substance that smells lightly of peaches, I use this by putting it on a cotton wool pad, and gently sweep it across my face.I love using this in the mornings as its super quick and refreshing, there is no need to wash the product off. Clarins also sells a one-step Water cleanser for combination to oily skin types.

What cleanser do you love using? Any recommendations?

Quick Review ~ GOSH Natural blush in Rose Whisper

 Hi Guys,
Thought i would do a quick review on a blush i am really liking at the moment.I really like that this blush is a lot more subtle than most of the blushes i own, which is great for days when i'm going for a more natural look. Its a dusty pink rose colour that is velvety in texture. I didn't find that i needed a lot of product on my brush as it has really good pigmentation. The only downside i found was the staying power, on me it only last about four hours before it started to really fade which is still pretty damn good .At £6.99 i think this is a really great little blush.
GOSH also has a selection of cream blushes which i can't wait to try.
                                                    GOSH rose whisper £6.99 (superdrugs)
A blended swatch of blush and a concentrated swatch

Me with the blush on.
Sorry about the shoddy picture of me i can never get a good picture of myself

Has anyone else tried GOSH blushes? What did you think?

Review on Origins Out of trouble 10 minute mask.

Hi there guys, some of you may or may not no this is my first blog, so please bear with me if this review isn't what you're use to reading, i will ! hopefully get better at this :)

Origins Out of trouble 10 minute mask.

Since i came off birth control my skin has gone nuts!, it has been breaking out soo much *sob.
So i have been on the lookout for products that will help my skin get back to normal (well I can dream, right?) As i was browsing the web I stumbled upon this little beauty.

What origins says :

When skin is too-slick, or when more pressing problems start to pop up, it's Origins to the rescue to keep skin out of trouble. Nature's trouble-shooters, including super-absorbent Zinc Oxide and Sulfur, calming Camphor plus skin-sloughing, rapidly respond to problem skin's plight with a three-part plan - sop up oily-shine, slough off sticky, dead cells, and sweep away irksome debris. Together they steer skin clear of slippery situations, refine rough texture and pull the plug on troublemakers to oust potential outbursts.

Best for oily and combination skin.

I have to say I love this stuff!, the smell however reminds me of Vicks Vaporub but not as strong, which actually isn't as bad as it sounds. The consistency is quite thick (as you can see from the pictures)

it still spreads without too much hassle. A few seconds after i apply this it starts to tingle (kind of how carmex lip balm does). Personally the tingle doesn't bother me as i find it quite refreshing.I like to leave on the mask for more than ten minutes as i just feel i will get more out of using the mask that way.(or i could just be nuts?) but sometimes i will just put it on parts of my face for ten minutes as a sort of spot treatment . I do find this mask a pain in the rear end to remove though as it takes ages for me to get it off. I will either remove it by washing it off with water or, use a flannel. (I think the flannel works best). The results of using the mask is fantastic!, the redness around my blemishes go from a bright red to a much lighter pink, the excess oil has gone from my face and my face is as smooth as a baby's backside. It is a little pricey at £20 a pop but i think this tube will be lasting me for quite some time yet! I just love the results so will definitely be buying it again and again.

Disclaimer: I purchased this item with my own money and was not paid to do a review. These are my own opinions.

Have any of you used this? What did you think? If anyone has any recommendations for products that would help with blemishes please leave me a comment below. Thanks <3
